This print design is inspired by an original artwork from 1859, called La Femme Damnee (The Damned woman).

I saw it for the first time a few years ago and instantly fell in love with it. I love that we have some queer representation from the 1800s, and that historians are certain that it was intended to depict only women, as the artistic style of the time would be to paint male backs more muscular.
